Welcome to Northtown Church FAQs?

1. First and foremost we want you to know that everyone is welcome.

2. Is there nursery care?

We have a safe, secure, and clean nursery for our youngest children (0-2years old.) The nursery is fully staffed by certified volunteers and is available for the whole time of the worship service or anytime during the service that a little one needs care. There is a private changing and nursing area at the rear of the nursery for your convenience.

3. What will my children do while I’m in worship?

Families with younger children bring them in to worship with them and enjoy the singing and group worship activities. Most every Sunday, we have what we call “Children’s Worship.” during the sermon. This is for our children 3 years old through 2nd grade. Children are welcome to participate or not. You know your child’s needs, attention span, and comfort with other adults and children. There will be a dismissal for children’s worship, usually before the lesson. Children’s worship is conducted by certified volunteers and is an opportunity for the children to have a lesson from the Bible on their level.

4. What should I expect during worship?

Everything we do on Sunday morning is focused on God and encouraging one another. Each week our worship includes, singing, prayer, a lesson by a minister, participation in the Lord’s Supper (communion), and an offering. As part of the worship experience there is a Praise Team that encourages everyone who wishes to lift their voices in singing to God. NT fully encourages
congregational involvement.

5. Where is guest parking?

We have a large parking area. As you enter you will see spots for guests on the left of the driveway with disabled parking directly across from the main entry door. Our members tend to park further toward the East and South of the building to make sure the closest spots are available for our guests.

6. What is there for my kids?

During the 9:00 Bible class time, children up to age 12 meet in the far left double classroom as you enter the education area and kick off class with fun action songs before breaking up into their age groups for Bible lessons.

Teen Bible classes meet at the church house (north of the church building across the parking lot) lower level. Turn left as you enter the center door.
