Vacation Bible School -- 2007

The formula is the same (since we don’t mess with success), but the script is different. Yes, it’s the 2007 Vacation Bible School.

The event is supposedly for kids (aged 2 through the 6th grade). But there are scores of adults and teens who would not think of missing VBS, and they typically outnumber the children in the audience.

A banner welcomes visitors . . .
. . . as kids gather by age.
Inside, they find Miss Melinda in charge . . .
. . . and take their places on the floor, ready for the program.
Of course there is the Professor, and his sidekick Tex, and the Evangelator and Gospel Girl, Puppets, a Christian drama, and of course the Devil appears, and is driven off by a song and a Bible verse.
The cast leads the group in singing Christian kids songs.
There is a bible drama.
Kids go outside for activities . . .
. . . gather by age . . .
. . . and enjoy some active play.
