Valentine’s Dessert Night
Sunday, February 10th (6-8pm) Northtowners got together for a
“Valentine’s Dessert Night.” Open to all adults (single,
married, dating), a great evening of sweet things to eat and

arrange for babysitting.

Special Drama
Sunday, January 6, we had a very special drama presentation during worship by Ardan James, an
internationally known Christian illusionist from Milwaukee. He and the cast performed a scene about the
life of Jesus from the play, “a girl, a mirror, and a magician.”
Annual Girls’ Night Out
Women of the congregation joined in the annual “Girls’ Night Out” on Friday, January 4.
They met together for dinner at Chili’s, N96W18640 County Line Road in Germantown at 6 PM.
It was a great evening of feminine fellowship!
Women’s Prayer Circle
Christians often have a particular situation in their lives to pray about, perhaps joined by fellow Christians.
Northtown Women shared these with other women in
the church during the Women’s Prayer Circle from 8 AM to noon on Saturday, January 12 at the church building.
They spent the whole morning praying together about whatever was on each woman’s heart -- although women
were welcome to
join in anytime during the morning. Afterwards, they had lunch together at Ruby Tuesday’s.
Renee Russell organized the event.
Diversity Sunday
In order to better understand each other and the various cultural backgrounds we all come from, Northtown had
a special “Unity in Diversity” service on Sunday, January 20. This was in anticipation of Martin Luther King
Jr.’s Birthday observance. Refreshments reflecting different cultures were served after services.
