Volunteering -- Meals for Needy at Easter

On the Saturday before Easter, 2008, Northtown Youth went to a Milwaukee-area church to help serve an Easter meal to needy people from the neighborhood.

Girls spread butter on bread for toast. . .
. . . and wash dishes in the kitchen.
Guys, not being entirely useless, arrange cookies on trays.
The gals staff the serving line.
Northtowners get to share the meal they have helped prepare and serve. . .
. . . and the adults who brought the kids get some time for a sisterly talk.
